Tournament Information Be at the SKYCITY Auckland Poker Room on Thursday 26 December for a special Boxing Day tournament. The action kicks off at 12.30pm with a starting stack of 30,000.

Locals have always been able to keep the title on home soil. Can a Kiwi do it again? Daniel Craker walked away with NZD$257,040 and the champion’s trophy, and New Zealand’s first and only World Champion Simon Watt was able to work his way through a tough field to claim victory and NZD$209,000. It was then the turn of local music producer Danny ‘Brotha D’ Leaoasavaii who won NZD $170,000. In 2013 Geoff Smith was victorious winning NZD$80,502.

- The action kicks off in the SKYCITY Auckland Poker Room at 7.15pm every Tuesday and Thursday in September with a starting stack of 8,000. Re-buys. available until the end of level 6. The winner of each tournament will win a cash prize.
